From November 5 to 7, a workshop with Prof. Ernesto Molinari (Bern) and Jochen Seggelke on the CLEX contrabass clarinet will take place at the Rostock University of Music. Instead of a conventional key mechanism, this instrument, which we helped to develop, is controlled by a dynamic sensor system. This makes it possible to send the work of the fingers on a wind instrument “through a computer”. The information can simply be transferred to the keys in the same way as a conventional mechanism, but it can also be stored or influenced externally.
