Matinée with the duo [døbas] – Holger Busboom and Didier Jacquin on 22.09.2024 at 11:00 am. The two bass clarinettists will play a mixed program from baroque to modern for us.
The duo [døbas] was founded in 2017 by bass clarinettists Didier Jacquin and Holger Busboom. The ensemble demonstrates the rich expressive possibilities of a little-known yet diverse instrument.
Their repertoire includes compositions from the Baroque to the present day. From bass to tenor voice, the very special sound mixture of two bass clarinets offers new, exciting and poetic listening experiences.
With their programs of original compositions, original compositions and arrangements, they are guests at various concert series and events, including the Ensemblia Mönchengladbach, the Rheydt Castle Concerts and the chamber music series “Na hör`n Sie mal!” in the Düsseldorf Tonhalle.
