The Munich duo Cernavca (clarinet: Slava Cernavca, piano: Zoryana Tkachyk-Cernavca) presents its program “Contrasts”. They will play works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Witold Lutoslawski and Erwin Schulhoff as well as their own compositions and improvisations.

Just as yin and yang are opposites that form a unity, the clarinet and piano in Duo Cernavca come together to form a complementary whole. The elegant performance, based on classical traditions, is combined with daring, sometimes even provocative interpretations that take the listener into the seductive and mysterious realm of sounds and the wonderful world of music that lies in the penumbra.

Many years of experience in partnership ensure an extensive repertoire covering almost all epochs and genres. Even the most hardened music lover with his subtle demands will find his expectations exceeded and discover a newly opened door that invites him to further shared experiences…

The concert consists of two parts.

After all concerts and during the breaks, there are small appetizers and always a full glass according to taste.
