From the first draft to the final polish, every piece is made by master clarinet makers in our Bamberg workshop. For sound, response and playing feel at the highest level.

Each mouthpiece is precisely CNC-milled from food-safe rubber and then fine-tuned by hand. This is how we combine the highest manufacturing quality with exceptional tone color.
Suitable for your clarinet
Our bore fits (almost) all clarinets. The combination of cylindrical end and parabolic beginning developed by Jochen Seggelke allows you to achieve perfect response and intonation – whether orchestra, ensemble or solo.
About our Mouthpieces
All SEGGELKE mouthpieces for modern clarinets are made of food-safe rubber as standard. Mouthpieces for historical clarinets are made of boxwood.
Made from food-safe rubber, precisely CNC-milled, and finely tuned by hand, our mouthpieces combine the highest manufacturing quality with outstanding sound characteristics. This ensures that the same manufacturing parameters apply to every mouthpiece for maximum comparability.
The N and G facings are for German cut reeds. Currently (as of 2026), these facings are only available on mouthpieces with a German tenon (D). The A, B and C facing are for French cut reeds.
Facing A is available with French body (L) and French tenon (F) or German tenon (D). Simply choose between ALF and ALD! If you want to play facing A on a German clarinet, you can choose between ASF and ASD.
Facing B is available with French body (L) and French tenon (F) or German tenon (D). Simply choose between BLF and BLD! If you would like to play the B facing on a German clarinet, then the BSD mouthpiece is just right for you.
Facing C is available with French body (L) and French tenon (F) or German tenon (D). Simply choose between CLF and CLD! If you would like to play the C facing on a German clarinet, you can choose between CSF and CSD.
Yes, we offer the full range:
We have mouthpieces for the E-flat clarinet with a German body and German tenon (SD) or a French body and French tenon (LF)!
We offer mouthpieces for basset horn and bass clarinet only with a German tenon, which are suitable, for example, for our low instruments from the Schwenk&Seggelke brand, as well as clarinets from many other manufacturers.
